Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Virtualization

Certification Summary:
For individuals with the ability to analyze business and technical needs and propose extensive Citrix designs that solve those key challenges. The Architect Series validates the highest level of Citrix technical expertise and certifies a candidates ability to design and analyze dynamic approaches to application and workload delivery. There are two tracks to choose from: CCIA for Virtualization and CCIA for Citrix XenApp.

Initial requirements:
For the CCIA for Virtualization track, you must hold a CCEE for Virtualization and pass the Architecting a Citrix Virtualization Solution exam (available Q4 2009). You must also agree to the CCIA for Virtualization program agreement and complete an online profile questionnaire. It is also recommended you have extensive field experience related to architecting Citrix virtualization-based solutions.

For the CCIA for Citrix XenApp track, you must attend and pass the associated e-learning course ($100). You must then pass 6 additional exams ($1200).

You may not need to take all of the exams if you hold a current CCA certification.

Continuing requirements:
None.

Certification discontinuation and expiration are posted on the Citrix Education website and are announced at least 3 months prior to the discontinuation/expiration date.
