Certification Summary:
For individuals who solve advanced company-wide support problems and high-level network problems. They perform planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and upgrade services for networks. The Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) has been recognized as the IT industry's leading certification for advanced networking and troubleshooting.

Initial requirements:
There are two tracks to choose from: NetWare 6 and Open Enterprise Server for NetWare.

For Open Enterprise Server for NetWare, you must pass three exams: Foundations of Novell Open Enterprise Server fpr NetWare ($125), Novell Open Enterprise Server for NetWare Advance Admin ($125) and Novell eDirerctory Design and Implementation: eDirectory 8.8 ($125).

For NetWare 6 you must pass five exams: Foundations of Novell Networking: NetWare 6.5 ($125), Novell Network Management: NetWare 6.5 ($125), Advanced Novell Network Management: NetWare 6.5 ($125), Novell eDirerctory Design and Implementation: eDirectory 8.8 ($125) and Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Administration ($125).

Continuing requirements:
From time to time, Novell Training Services may require you to take an exam to keep current on the latest solutions and technologies. These exams are considered a Continuing Certification Requirement (CCR), which keep your skills up-to-date and keep your certification valuable in the marketplace.
