Cisco Data Center Storage Networking Support Specialist professionals understand how to deploy and optimize the features and benefits of the Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer Directors and Switches, Cisco MDS 9509 Director Switch, Cisco 9216 Fabric Switch, and Cisco MDS 9120 products to provide fast and accurate resolution to network installation and customer service issues.
Initial requirements:
You must pass the Implementing Cisco Storage Network Solutions exam ($150). Training is available but not required.
Continuing requirements:
Certifications are valid for two years. To recertify, you must re-take and pass all exams for this certification. Please note: this includes ALL exams whether refreshed or not. Alternatively, you can pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam. Achieving or recertifying CCDE or any CCIE automatically extends your active Specialist certification(s) up to the point of expiration of the last certification achieved.
