Certification Summary:
For experienced UNIX/Linux systems administrators who can effectively support a wide range of system configurations, from standalone desktop machines to high-performance enterprise servers. Increasingly, industry and government organizations are adopting UNIX/Linux as a cost-effective alternative to commercially available operating systems.

Initial requirements:
You must successfully complete three core courses and one elective and their associated exams. The core courses are: UNIX and Linux Tools and Utilities ($2790), either Linux ($2790) or UNIX ($2790) and either Linux Administration and Support ($2790) or UNIX Administration and Support ($2790).

The electives to choose from are: UNIX and Linux Security ($2790), Introduction to Perl Programming ($2790), Shell Programming ($2390), Introduction to PHP for Web Development ($1800), MySQL ($2390), TCP/IP ($2790) and System and Network Security ($2790).

Standard tuition costs are based on the length of the course. Discount tuition packages are available.

The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for over 200 of Learning Tree's courses. Learning Tree Courses may qualify for your organization's Tuition Reimbursement Programs.
