For individuals who want to validate their skills with using the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows Vista. The Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) credential, part of the Microsoft Business Certification program, identifies specific skills covering the most in-demand 2007 Microsoft Office system products—Microsoft Office Word 2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Access 2007, and Outlook 2007—as well as the Windows Vista operating system. Candidates must pass a certification exam in order to earn the MCAS credential.
Initial requirements:
You must pass one exam covering the application of your choice. Choose from Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, or Windows Vista. Exams are $125 each. Training is available but not required.
