Certification Summary:
For individuals who wish distinguish themselves as an expert in database administration, database development, or business intelligence. Each MCITP designation requires that you first earn the associated MCTS certification.

Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 (3 exams including 2 MCTS prerequisites)
You must first earn the MCTS on Microsoft Office Project 2007 as well as Microsoft Office Project Server 2007. In addition you must pass another exam covering Microsoft Office Project manager at the Pro level.

IT Professional: Database Developer (2 exams plus MCTS SQL Server)
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 credential (one exam). You must pass two additional exams: Exam 70–441: PRO: Designing Database Solutions by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 AND Exam 70–442: PRO: Designing and Optimizing Data Access by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

IT Professional: Database Administrator (2 exams plus MCTS SQL Server)
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 certification (one exam). You must pass two additional exams: Exam 70–443: PRO: Designing a Database Server Infrastructure by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 AND Exam 70–444: PRO: Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

IT Professional: Business Intelligence Developer (2 exams plus MCTS SQL Server)
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 certification (one exam). You must pass two additional exams: Exam 70-445: PRO: Designing Business Intelligence Solutions by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services AND Exam 70-446: PRO: Designing a Business Intelligence Infrastructure by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

IT Professional: Enterprise Support Technician (1 exam plus MCTS certification).

Continuing requirements:
Recertification is required every 3 years.
