Certification Summary:
For individuals who who will take the administrative role of tuning, planning, and optimizing data layout for one or many servers, but do not write many applications. CMDBAs have extensive and broad competentences in their field of expertise.
Initial requirements:
You must pass the DBA-I ($200) and DBA-II ($200) exams. Each exam has a 90 minute time limit and consists of 70 questions. A passing score of 44 - 46 is required. Training is available but not required.
Continuing requirements:
You are expected to update your certification to reflect the current production version of MySQL on a regular basis.
