Certification Summary:
Designed for Novell's Academic Training Partners (NATP), the NAI certification allows you to teach certified courses at authorized NATP locations. As a certified instructor, you will have access to information on Novell's latest products, valuable classroom material, and resources that will assist you with your courses. Unlike the CNI, there is no didactic requirement for the NAI, and NAIs may not teach at commercial Novell Training Services Partner sites.
Initial requirements:
You must meet the technical requirements of the course you wish to teach and be employed by or contract with a Novell Academic Training Partner. You must then complete and submit the NAI application and the Novell Training Services Certification Agreement.
If you already hold a suitable Novell Technial certification, there is no cost to become a NAI. If you must earn a suitable Novell Technical certification, exam fees range from $100 - $300. Training is available but not required.
Continuing requirements:
You must renew your Novell partnership annually and continue teaching at a Novell Acaemic Training Partner location.
