Certification Summary:
An entry-level certification for individuals who work with Oracle database products.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

Oracle 10g track:
You must pass the Oracle Database 10g OCA exam ($125).

Oracle 9i track:
You must pass two certification exams covering Oracle 9i. The first, 1z1-007 - Introduction to Oracle 9i: SQL($90) can be taken via the Internet or at a proctored testing center. The second, Exam 1z1-031 - Oracle 9i Database Fundamentals ($125), is taken at a proctored test center.

Continuing requirements:
Oracle will periodically announce requirements for recertification based on the release of new products and upgrades. You have 6 months after the announcement to recertify.
