For Sun Certified Java Programmers who create mobile applications using Java technologies for cell phones or "smart" devices.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must first hold Sun Certified Java Programmer certification. You must also pass the Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition exam ($150). The most recent version we checked included 68 questions, had a passing score of 55%, and a time limit of 150 minutes. Testing is through Prometric, but you must first purchase a test voucher from Sun, then register with Prometric.
