Schaumburg, Ill. (Jan. 27, 2021) — ISACA, a global association serving business technology professionals, announced its annual event schedule, which includes the ISACA Conference, a new event focused on emerging technologies, innovation and best practices, as well as new training and learning opportunities.
The ISACA Conference will allow attendees to connect and engage with their fellow business technology professionals across the globe, offering flexible learning experiences featuring key crossover content from past events, including CACS, CSX and CMMI Capability Counts. Sessions of varying lengths will cover topics related to audit, risk, governance, information security, cybersecurity, capability and maturity models, privacy, and emerging technologies. Sessions dedicated to career development as well as bridging workforce and tech education gaps through One In Tech, an ISACA Foundation, will be included.
ISACA is retiring its Computer Audit, Control and Security (CACS) events, which began more than 40 years ago. The last CACS conference will be Latin America CACS, currently planned for March in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
"We are always innovating ISACA's learning opportunities to meet changing demands. The critical role of ISACA professionals has never been more apparent than it has been during this pandemic because technology innovation is driving recovery efforts," said ISACA CEO David Samuelson. "The value our members provide for safe and secure use of technology in business is one reason the ISACA Conference is now a much broader event. We need to deliver the guidance, knowledge and cross-networking that our professional community seeks to navigate their constantly evolving roles."
